Terms of service
These terms explain what you can expect from Pixcene and what we need from you when you create, preview, or order a poster.
These Terms of Service apply when you visit Pixcene, create previews, buy a physical product or digital file, or use any related service. By using Pixcene, you agree to these terms and our Privacy, Shipping, Refunds & Reprints, and Guarantee policies. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
You keep the rights you already have in the photos and other material you submit. You promise that you own them or have permission to use them, including permission from people shown where required. You give Pixcene and the providers helping us operate the service a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, copy, crop, edit, transform, generate from, print, package, and deliver that material only as needed to create your previews and order, provide support, protect the service, and meet legal obligations. This license does not allow us to use your personal photos in advertising without separate permission.
Do not submit anything illegal, threatening, hateful, sexually exploitative, deceptive, invasive of privacy, or harmful, or anything that infringes copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or another person’s rights. Do not upload images without the required consent or use Pixcene to impersonate, harass, defraud, or exploit anyone. We and our production or technology providers may reject, stop, or remove content or an order when reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, provider rules, or protection of third-party rights.
Pixcene uses automated and generative tools to turn your photos into artwork. Results can vary, may contain unexpected details, and may not perfectly reproduce every feature, color, object, or part of a reference image. Similar outputs may be created for other customers, and we do not promise that an output is unique, eligible for copyright, or free of every third-party claim. Review the selected preview, spelling, crop, and product choices carefully before ordering. The unwatermarked production file is based on the version you choose.
Your purchase does not transfer Pixcene’s website, brand, software, style library, templates, or other service materials to you, and it does not give you rights in material owned by someone else. Subject to those rights and applicable law, you may display and gift the physical product you buy and use a purchased digital file for your own personal printing. Commercial use, resale, licensing, or use as a logo or trademark is not included unless we agree in writing. Copyright protection for AI-assisted material can depend on the law and the level of human authorship.
Prices, discounts, shipping charges, product details, and the order total are shown before payment in U.S. dollars. Payment is handled through a third-party checkout provider. An order is accepted after payment is confirmed, but we may cancel and refund an order if a product is unavailable, pricing or technical information was materially wrong, the order cannot be produced safely or lawfully, or fraud is reasonably suspected. You are responsible for providing an accurate email and, for physical products, a complete U.S. shipping address.
Physical products are made specifically from your selected artwork, finish, color, and size. Screen previews and product mockups are guides: color, crop, texture, placement, frame grain, and scale may look somewhat different in the finished item because displays, print processes, materials, and production locations vary. Production and delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees. Please contact us immediately if an address or order detail is wrong; changes may be impossible once production begins.
A digital purchase provides access to the downloadable file shown with the order after payment and processing are complete. Digital products do not include a physical item or shipping. Keep your private order link secure and download the file promptly. You may not share, resell, sublicense, distribute, or make the file publicly available except as these terms or applicable law permit.
Because each item is personalized, change-of-mind returns or cancellations may not be available after production starts, and digital purchases may not be refundable after delivery. If an item is damaged, lost, incorrect, or materially different from what you ordered, contact us promptly with your order number and clear photos when relevant. Eligibility and the available remedy are described in our Refunds & Reprints and Guarantee policies. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights that cannot legally be limited.
Pixcene relies on service providers for payment processing, image generation, hosting, email, printing, shipping, and tracking. Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices. We remain responsible to you for the products we sell, but we are not responsible for a third-party service outside our control. Carrier events, safety filters, outages, supply changes, and other external events may delay or prevent a preview, order, or delivery.
Do not probe, scrape, copy, reverse engineer, overload, bypass limits or security, introduce malicious code, automate abusive requests, or interfere with Pixcene or another person’s use. We may limit or suspend access to protect customers, the service, our providers, or the law. We may update, replace, or discontinue features and styles, but this does not remove obligations for an order we have already accepted.
Except for promises expressly stated in these terms or our Guarantee, Pixcene is provided on an “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free AI output, or a particular creative result. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pixcene is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, and our total liability for a claim related to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them.
We may update these terms as the service changes. The version posted when you place an order will apply to that order, unless a change is required by law.
