Here’s what we collect, why we need it, who helps us process it, and the choices you have.
Last updated September 6, 2026. This policy explains how Pixcene handles personal information when you use pixcene.com, create a poster, place an order, join our email list, or contact support.
We collect the photos and other content you upload, your poster choices, generated artwork, and any optional instructions you provide. If you place an order, we receive your name, email address, shipping address, order details, payment status, and tracking information. We also collect the name, email, order number, topic, and message you choose to send through support, plus your email and consent choice when you join our email list. Please only upload content you have permission to use.
Our servers receive basic request information, such as your IP address, to operate the site, prevent abuse, and limit repeated generation, checkout, contact, newsletter, and order-lookup requests. We store a one-way hash rather than the raw IP address in our rate-limit records. Our analytics provider may process device, browser, campaign, referral, IP-derived location, and interaction information to measure visits and advertising performance. We may also receive transaction, delivery, and email-delivery events from the providers that process those parts of the service.
Pixcene uses your browser’s local storage to remember poster-session access, your cart, and a pending checkout. Session storage briefly holds a local photo preview, and IndexedDB temporarily stages photos while they upload. This lets the no-account experience survive navigation and refreshes. We also use first-party analytics identifiers to understand visits, campaign attribution, and funnel performance. Private order tokens, poster-session IDs, uploaded photos, and generated artwork are not included in analytics URLs or event properties. Clearing site data removes local records and may also remove access to an unfinished poster or cart.
We use information to create and show your poster previews, prepare print files and product mockups, process payment, produce and ship an order, provide downloads and private order links, send receipts and tracking updates, answer support requests, measure campaign and funnel performance, prevent fraud or misuse, maintain the service, and comply with legal obligations. We send marketing or abandoned-poster emails only when you have agreed to receive them; you can unsubscribe from marketing at any time.
We disclose only the information needed for a provider’s role: Supabase hosts our database and private image storage; fal.ai processes uploaded photos, prompts, and style references to create artwork; Stripe hosts checkout and processes payment and shipping details; Gelato receives the print file and delivery details needed to produce and ship physical products; Resend delivers order, support, recovery, and marketing emails; and DataLyr provides analytics, attribution, and conversion measurement. Where enabled, DataLyr may send limited conversion information to advertising platforms so campaigns can be measured. These providers may process information in the United States or other countries under their own privacy terms and our service arrangements. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect customers or the service, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
Unpurchased poster sessions expire after seven days. Our cleanup process then removes their uploaded source photos and generated images. For purchased posters, source photos are removed after the session expires, while the selected artwork, print files, order, payment-status, fulfillment, tracking, refund, and email records may be kept as needed to make and support the order, provide a download, prevent fraud, and meet accounting or legal obligations. Newsletter information is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, subject to records needed to honor that choice. Support records are kept only as long as reasonably needed to resolve and document the request.
Customer photos and generated files are stored in private buckets and are accessed through limited, signed links or private access tokens. We also limit public database access and restrict provider credentials to the server. No online service can promise perfect security, so please protect private poster and order links and contact us if you believe one has been exposed.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold, request a copy, correct it, delete it, or object to or restrict certain uses. You may also use an authorized agent where local law allows. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where an exception or legal obligation applies. We do not sell personal information for money. Advertising measurement or conversion forwarding may be treated as targeted advertising or sharing under some laws. Our analytics setup honors Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals, and you can contact us to exercise an applicable opt-out or privacy right. We will not discriminate against you for doing so.
Pixcene is not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 should not submit personal information or create an order. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to us without appropriate permission, contact us so we can review and remove it where required.
Use our contact form or email hello@pixcene.com for a privacy question or request. Include the email used for your poster or order and enough detail for us to understand the request, but do not send payment-card information or other sensitive documents unless we ask for them through a secure method. We may update this policy as the service changes; the date above shows the latest revision.
